Lady Anneka Von distinguished herself while serving as an advisor with Cohort A, near the village of Summerwell. Cohort A was directed to assist a friendly unit which was endangered by intense assault from a enemy battalion located in a heavily fortified base camp. Lady Anneka Von quickly organized the members of her unit into effective combat teams and spearheaded the attack by destroying 4 enemy occupied bunkers. She then raced some 600 feet under heavy enemy fire to reach an adjoining unit which had begun to falter. After rallying this unit and assisting their wounded, Lady Anneka Von returned to her own unit with critically needed leadership. Without pausing she moved to the forefront and destroyed 4 enemy occupied bunkers and an undead abomination which had threatened her advancing unit. Although painfully wounded by a long sword, Lady Anneka Von refused medical attention and continued her assault by neutralizing 2 more enemy bunkers nearby. While searching one of these emplacements Lady Anneka Von narrowly escaped death when a hidden retinue of undead soldiers ambushed her. Shortly thereafter, she ran to the aid of a severely wounded friendly officer and struck down an enemy soldier who was threatening the officer’s life. At great risk to herself, Lady Anneka Von carried the officer through an intense hail of crossbow fire to deliver him to friendly medical personnel. Lady Anneka Von then continued to rally her unit’s members and led them through the entrenched enemy until her Cohort was relieved. Her exemplary leadership and great personal courage throughout the 4-hour battle ensured the success of her own and nearby units, and resulted in the saving of numerous lives of her fellow soldiers.
Lady Anneka’s bravery was in the highest traditions of the service and reflects great credit upon herself time and time again. To this end she shall receive the highest honor available: a golden Armilla of Honor (Second Citation, First Citation Archival Reference: Fessarun 794).
